For several years in a row Cloud Security Alliance hosted an in-person conference, and I was responsible for designing and print-readying a huge quantity of the signage for this event over multiple years. This included directional signage inside and outside, standing banners, large scale schedules, welcome and info booth wrapping, and lots of branded decorative elements for archways, columns, stages, windows, and doors. I was also responsible for a multitude of smaller scale print materials such as branded bags, programs, menus, and stickers. In addition to designing these assets, I prepared them for print, communicated with printers, and even helped install some!
Each year our color schemes, patterns, and design language for the event evolved a bit. I enjoyed the challenge of carrying a clearly branded through-line from year to year while still allowing each new event to feel fresh and exciting. The first photo here is me seeing my own work in large scale print for the first time! It was a huge occasion for me.
